The question in reverse

What do I need to buy to run this?

The calculator starts from the hardware you already own. This one starts from the model you want and works backwards to the cheapest thing that runs it properly — which is often a used card two generations old rather than the one being advertised at you.

How well should it run?

How to read the prices

Prices are indicative, reviewed on 2026-09-01, and are there to rank options rather than to quote you a figure. New parts are priced at typical retail; discontinued ones at what they go for used, which for something like a three-generation-old 24 GB card is the whole reason it is on the list. Every row links to a live search so you can see the real number.

Machines with unified memory are priced as whole computers, not cards, because that is how you buy them. Comparing a $200 used graphics card against a $3,199 laptop is not apples to apples, and the table says which is which.

Outbound price links are Amazon affiliate links: if you buy through one we earn a commission and you pay the same. Ranking is by price and by our calculated capability score. Nothing in it is paid for.
