One address, read by a person. Corrections get priority over everything else.
Reporting a number that looks wrong
This is the most useful thing you can send. Our figures are calculated from published specifications and checked against one machine, so a systematic gap between our estimate and yours usually means a term in the model needs fixing, and fixing it improves every page at once.
Include, if you can:
- The model and the exact quantization file you loaded
- Your GPU or machine, and how much memory it has
- The runtime and version, and the context length you set
- What the runtime reported for memory used, and the tokens per second you saw
- What we said instead
Missing hardware
Tell us the device and, ideally, its memory capacity and peak memory bandwidth from the vendor datasheet. Those two numbers are all the calculator needs.
Missing models
Send the Hugging Face repository name. Anything with a published configuration and a layout we can read per layer can be added. A model whose attention design we cannot establish from its configuration is left out on purpose, for the reasons set out in the methodology.
What happens next
We read every message, and corrections come first. A report of a wrong number gets checked against the model's own configuration and, where we can, against a run on our test machine, and if you are right the fix goes out with a line in the update log and a reply to you. If we disagree, we say why. We cannot promise to add every model or device requested, since each one has to have a published configuration we can read, but we do keep a list and work through it.
What we cannot help with
We cannot debug your installation or choose a model for a specific job, and we do not give purchasing advice beyond what the buying guide and the calculator already say. The runtimes have active communities for installation problems, and a message that quotes the exact error and your setup gets a better answer there than a general one from us.
