A free calculator and reference for estimating whether a machine-learning model will fit in a given amount of memory. Using it means accepting these terms.

The figures are estimates

Every memory and speed figure here is calculated from published specifications, not measured on the hardware in question. Real results depend on your runtime, driver, settings and what else is running. We aim for the right order of magnitude and the right ranking between options, and we describe exactly how each number is derived so you can judge it for yourself.

Do not treat these numbers as a guarantee, and do not make a purchase you cannot return on the strength of a single figure. If a decision matters, check it against a second source.

No warranty

This site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the information is accurate, complete or current, or that the site will be available without interruption. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including money spent on hardware that turned out not to suit you.

Using our data

The text and layout of this site are ours. Quoting a figure with a link back is welcome. Bulk copying of the tables into a competing catalogue is not. The underlying model configurations belong to their publishers and are subject to their own licences.

Acceptable use

Please do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people, attempt to interfere with its operation, or present its output as your own measurement.
